Fill Plates- To Match Any Style of Production
Using the correct fill plate is an essential aspect of a properly forming the product desired. The layout of your mold plate cavities and breather holes depends on the fill plate/setting being used, as well as the product being formed. As production needs expand, and a different type of product is required, using a different type of fill plate may be required. With differend products being formed, it is essential that the proper fill plate be used with the right product and setting. That is, fill plates are not necessarily interchangeable. Contact MALAK tooling division to help assist in determining the correct fill plate to use, along with the mold plate and breather plate. The fill plate will allow the product to enter each cavity as product is filling. The size and angle of the fill plate opening greatly affects how the product will fill each cavity.
